Look out Chicago, here comes Organized Crime!

Do you really need any more info other than this? Jonn and I are very excited to be playing this show with long time friend and fellow fashion victim Fred Everything. Fresh out of the studio from doing his album Lost Together (out now on Om Records), Fred is now touring and wrecking shop across the globe. Don’t forget about us though! We’re coming off a hot little ditty that released on Spatula City that has been blowing up dancefloors since Winter Music Conference.

Live ‘n Direct from 91.7fm WMSE!

This past weekend the crew got together and took over a local radio station! It goes without saying that we had fun during the invasion and we were gracious to our host for letting us do so. Here’s some background info on the station and Saturday’s “Late Night Beat Generation”:

Above Ground – Breathe It In EP – SFRD010

Catalog #: SFRD010
Artist: Above Ground
Title: Breathe It In EP
Style: Chill out / Nu-Disco / Space Disco
Release Date: 05/26/2009

Soul Fuel is back again with yet another release to follow up the acclaimed release by Marcus Aurelius (The Untitled EP). This time around we have something different from someone new, Above Ground. This guy came out of nowhere and shocked us with the quality of the music and production that we just couldn’t say, “No.”

(Your Sins) is a nice and moody number featuring some thick bass, robot-like vocals, and a wicked solo in the break that shreds your body. Cloning Experiment is more on the darker side of things and has sax line in it that just brings everything together nicely. And last but certainly not least, Come For The Vibe weighs in as nothing less than Heavyweight. It’s got a euphoric sense to it that is amazing for any time of day or night and any crowd. Slow and low is the tempo!

Jonn Hawley Live @ MHYH D’Vine Lounge – WMC ‘09

Oy vey! We’re finally back and recovered from Miami this year and getting things together now for DEMF and beyond. But while you are waiting in the wings for the next release and DEMF (we hope to see you there!), we figured we could show you guys a little bit of love and provide a mix for you.

So here’s a little mix from myself from Saturday @ D’Vine Hookah Lounge at the MyHouse-YourHouse party. Big thanks to all those guys for having not just myself but JC Disko as well! Nothin’ but bro love for that crew. So without further adieu…
